5.3 Heads on 6.0?

Anybody tried this? I've got an 03 Z71 with a 6.0 @.30 over and a mild Isky Cam ...We had LS1 heads with LS6 springs until we lost the valves on cylinder #7. I'm looking at the 5.3 heads cause I can get them now and cheap (would love L92's but that aint an option right now). Curious about thoughts on 5.3 heads with this setup.

Thanks Mitch..I think it's a little more compression, keep the LS6 springs and make more power? What's the drawback?

I think the draw back is just flow. 5.3 heads (older) flow about like ls1 heads. Just smaller CC's. New 5.3's are 243 casting. If you get the 5.3 heads ported, you should be happy.
