Yes, I am still running the stock MAF and spraying meth after the MAF. I realize the IAT sensor can't read the lower IAT's when the meth sprays with my current setup, which is why I started this thread. How do I know if the MAF is pegged though?

as it is, your stock maf will peg (run out of resolution) with much more... like I said, VERY suprised it isnt already.
I dont know who tuned your truck, but I would wonder why it isnt strictly in 2bar Speed Density... if you turn it up much more, your going to run out of MAP resolution and need a 3bar OS.
MAF is a great instrument to measure high rpm airflow, its very accurate.
all you need to do is run an SD OS is convert it (write entire, $100) then add and relocate an IAT sensor... you will also need a GM 2bar... forgot the PN but its a baraometric or something sensor NOT a "MAP" sensor.
basically a 2bar SD os eleminates the MAF althogether... it relies on the MAP and RPM to determine fueling... pretty simple concept really... you also get ur dynamic cyl air spark from these two axis's.... wink wink.
the truck really needs to be seen in person to do it right.. like finding max torque from min advance and such... if its generally happy with spark and fuel
02 Sierra... motorless for now.
02 SS.. stock bottom 4.8, 241's, 224-220/116+4, 918's and pushrods, front mount turbonetics 78mm, HKS GTII, TiAL, eBoost2, Yank PT3600, Performabuilt 60e, solid motor mounts. Tuned by me with HP Pro and LM2/AFX
All this SD, OS and 2 bar stuff is new to me. I don't know what any of it is. I hate to keep asking you guys about all this stuff but I'm clueless at this point. What is SD, OS, 2 bar, etc???? Wow I'm confused right now.

So I'm assumimg that should I go the 2 bar route, the wires that would plug into the MAF will plug into the 2 bar and IAT sensor instead. Or did I miss something?

At that point won't the ECM go ape- cuz it doens't have a MAF reading or do you have to get the famous SD tune to correct for the lack of the MAF sensor?

Yep, SD takes care of the fact that the MAF is gone. You basically have the 2 bar MAP sensor calculating the amount of fuel needed based on the amount of boost. There will be a code that is set but Allen will make it a "soft" code so that a check engine light does not come on.
