Not trying to make it difficult. You don't have to line up against any particular person, just make a pass, grab your time sheet, walk over to the board and if your times are better than those posted let the person watching the board know and they'll add you to the list. It will be a live FTL instead of waiting until you get home to post your times on the site, so those that come to the GTG can see the best times since all those that attend don't necessarily visit this site. Maybe we can have a site affiliation tagged onto it, too?
ahh, ok! this sounds cool. not organized classes and races, just somewhere to post times. should we also do a fastest RC, EC, and CC? 2wd and 4wd? true strees tire, DR, slick? just throwin out ideas...

Knowing race weights will help, too. RC, EC, CC all come into play when you know the race weight. We all know the Mitch ride is the heavyweight.

Nobody that is racing there will be able to sit in the stands and watch all the trucks to see what they run so that they can find a fair race or maybe a truck that they want to model their engine setup from. If we have a way to track times then it just would be a cool way to find out what are the fastest trucks all at the same elevation, air quality, temp and such. The FTL does not account for different tracks, locations and such.

Can SAR give Allen a printout of all racer's results? If so, maybe we can put together an Excel spreadsheet of the day's results. When everyone registers they should enter their mods and engine size.

I can make us a board to have out there on display if you guys would like....like a big board displaying everyones current best times and what not...wouldnt take me much to make one and i could prob make a stand for it

last year was a lot of fun and there was no organization, if you want to bracket race and crap, go to the track on a different day, or line up with people youre close to running with, i like the free for all style myself.

its not really organized if i understand him correctly...

you go get in line...race whoever they line you up against...run your time, whether you win or lose. take your ticket to whoever is runnin the board. if your time is the fastest for whichever category you fall into, they post it up...go get back in line and do it again.

at the end of the day whoever has the fastest times in each category gets bragging rights/trophy whatever...

am i on the same page as you RED?
