this engine is getting a brand spanking new set of GM #799 Casting Fully Assembled LS2 heads from Scoggin Dickey Parts in Lubbock, TX. They are 320.00 a piece and i have a Trickflow dual spring kit to accompany my new camshaft. I plan on taking the block to a machine shope and gettin the crank polsihed and the block re-decked just in case there is any warping from heat. Besides that, i have a full set of brand new lifters and it will get new main, rod, and cam bearings. I dont want to take any chances on ruining an engine, and i think the peace of mind is worth it.
