I'm always willing to lend a helping hand
but to put in my opinion about what this thread was originally about: ditch the klicker and get some good stuff. I.e. Diamond, jl, digital designs, eclipse(sq, not so ground shaking). But I guess if you like the klicker then do ported if you have the space.

Sticky/broken gauges? I can help. PM me for details.
I don't mind taking up the whole back wall as long as the seats go back. I just want it to hit and not sound too bad. I loved the custom ported console box but it was made (and tuned) for some kind of 10" and I cut it to fit a 12", I think it might be better to just start over.
Listen... Lo and I are a special breed... Audiophiles if you will. If you're just looking for a little bass, this might work for you. That kicker will probably like 1.5 ft^3 or so sealed. If you want to go ported, I can help you with the design of the box, but in reality, would have to see it in person and be able to make measurements myself to get you where I would be happy with the sound. As for the design, it looks good. If I were you, I'd put one of your Type R's in it instead of a Kicker though.
Digital Designs is a company that builds top of the line speakers. You can compare their 3500 series (mid level) to a JL w7 series or so. The 9100, 9500, and 9900 are normally custom built for your application and have many different options. I run a 9512g with custom dual 1 voice coils. To give you a general idea on cost... I paid $740 shipped to my door. The 15s and 18s can reach upward of $1000 depending on customization.

One other thing I was thinking is to try and remove the center seat for a custom box from the back wall to the dash but keep the folding armrest to fold down and cover them. I only have about 300 watts to work with, I sold the 3000 watt amp.
If you only have 300 watts a single ported 10 or 12 will do good. The setup I used in the tacoma on page 10 of the installs at chuckscarstereo.com sounded friggin awesome. It's a shallow p3 with a p300.1
