Thread: LS2 6.0L will it work?

    I have 02 silverado 5.3L auto, im really thinking about buying a GMPP LS2 6.0L for my truck, can someone give me advice what would i need or do to get my dream to come true!!!!

    A fat check book will help! Everything should bolt up execpt the knock sesnors (LS2 doesn't have provisions for them under the intake) and you will have to extend the cam sensor wires(LS2 sensor is in the front). You should reuse your truck intake and oil pan. You might need bigger injectors and you will also need tuning! You will also need to reuse your truck pullies, exhaust manafolds, and get a electric cooling fan. Ah and heed your signature quote "Horsepower and Torque is nothing without Traction"!
