I've found that the more high RPM driving you do the more oil you go through. I believe it has to do with oil vaporization, it gets sucked through the intake and burned out the exhausts. Time for an oil catch can if you do a lot of RPM in your engine. Thicker oils most likely have a harder time turning to vapors. I'm seriously considering going up to a 40w myself.
thats what i blame my oil consumption on...lots of high rpm driving. i dont run a catch can though. let her drink lol.

yeah i see your point about the oil vapor. Theres gonna be alot more pressure pushing through the pvc system with all those rpm
