well i guess a better question is whats the difference in how a muncie 4spd and a nv3500 would fit a LS engine. since the nv3500 came in some of our trucks?? if anyone has seen a similar topic point me towards it please. thanks gary

    5.3 4 speed

Heres the part number for the stuff to use on an ls1 which I would assume is the same. pilot bearing pt num. 12557583, flywheel 12561680. I believe these are a gm number.

i did this. you need the truck pilot bearing(i think, but call keisler to be sure), but you need the car flywheel clutch and pressure plate. and a conversion bell housing is better. I used the titanium one from keisler, i still have it too. its an easy swap if using linkage, my issues were with the hyd. T/o bearing..... good luck

ya, had a tko-600 in my 05 for a while, its the same spec as the muncie. It just was not friendly to 700+ rwhp. was a hand full to drive to say the least....lol.. but was slow bottom line, lost too much boost between shifts. the hyd t/o bearing was not disengauging the big dual disc clutches good enough.... spent about 3k on trying to get it right..... then went 80e.... i might do another manual one day

wonder how it would do behind a stout 5.3 with a good bit of nitrous flowing through its veins? what did you ever do with your olds parts and adapters?
