    Procharged silverado

Hi, I just installed a procharger in my 2004 silverado 2500HD 6.0 , 4L80E with 4.10's. I couldn't use an FMU because the 04 has no return line so i installed 42#injectors and an MSD voltage booster. when installing the voltage booster i reached up and grabbed the wrong plug and wired it to the evap solenoid and sent 12 volts to it and then got the P4052 code, so i disconnected and connected the fuel wires to the MSD. I cleared the code twice,,, did i ruin the solenoid with the 12volts, it uses only .5 if i am not mistaken.
I appreciate any input. Procharger doesn't make a kit for the HD and I really want this to work. Just had it out and from a 60 MPH roll a gave a beaten to a SRT charger! At the light I told him it was stock.....He swore turbo...
Low end really stinks,, but i just started it and not bad for the first hour of runtime.
I have a custom burn on the PCM but will need the dyno but first i need to clear the P0452 PLEASE HELP
    Thank you
    Dan

MSD voltage what? Is this the module that raises fuel pump input voltage with increase of RPM? Looks like the p0452 code is for the fuel tank pressure sensor circuit low voltage. This sensor runs on a 5.0 volt reference signal from the pcm. The fuel pressure sensor measures the difference in air pressure or vacuum in the evap system and the outside air pressure. The pcm supplies a 5volt reference and a low reference circuit to the FTP sensor. The FTP sensor circuit voltage varies depending on evap system pressure or vacuum. If the FTP sensor circuit voltage goes below a calibrated value the DTC sets. Most likely you just fried the sensor but there is a slight possibility that you fried the receiving or 5v reference circuit in the pcm for this sensor. I would try the sensor first. And you shouldn't need a FMU as long as you have someone that knows how to tune. It might be a good idea to get a walbro 255hp pump in there for some extra fuel pressure. Let me know if you need any more help!

    Thanks for the response!
I installed a new gas tank pressure sensor, cleared the code and has been clear so far.
I used and MSD voltage booster rather than change the fuel pump, it monitors boost and proportionally raises voltage to fuel pump. I am putting out 9-10 lbs and did have a tune put on the PCM but not too happy, kind of weak downstairs but flies up top.
Going to make an appt. to go on the dyno and have an flash done.
Not really complete with installation, still have to make brackets for intercooler but will post pics when done.
    I expect good numbers..

I just picked up a complete procharger setup for mine to minus the head unit for 200!! It has a 3 core intercooler upgrade too! Now i just have to save for a helical blade head unit. My poor magna charger is pretty much maxed out with our high elevation at 5psi even with the biggest pulley i can find and i'd like to run 9psi with the new procharger setup.

i have another P 1SC procharger head unit from my silverado, has only 5500 hundred miles on it. New from procharger is 2500. If you are interested let me know and I will give you a fair price and shipped in ATI box and foam, I changed it for a polished P 1SC that I have on the truck now. Three core is a good idea but will need some fabrication and you got some deal!!!

    wanna sell the magna?
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
