I have a friend that is working on a 93 chevy truck 5.7 4x4. The trans is giving a bunch of solenoid codes and is not getting any power to the trans plug. Will a bad computer cause this problem?

Ignition switch. The fuse is probably dead. Bet some of the gauges are dead too....
