    truck wont start.........trouble??

Hey folks, im new here and my friend is having trouble with his 2005 SSR, which has a 6.0 in it, hopefully someone can give me an idea of where the problem is. He just got the car and when you try to start it it will run for like 5 seconds then shut off. the power windows, lock dont work, the radio doesn't work it just keeps making this clicking noise. had it to the GM dealer here and they can't seem to figure it out, so im wondering if anyone has any sujestions??? Thanks.

Where are you? I can fix it but might need to see it in person. There is most likely an electrical issue...the other GMT3XX series trucks had a lot of ignition switch problems around 05-06 and I have replaced (and finally fixed a long time intermittent issue) the underhood fuse box on an 05 SSR for similar conditions.

usually if there isnt some kind of light on GM techs dont know thier ass from a hole in the ground theres a black box with a big grey plug underneath the dash make sure all the wires are still in there and have not been pinched happened to me, sucked balls.

It's a long story involving two visits to the customer's house and my heat gun.

You should start a thread that needs to be sticky'd of all your stories.
