    40 Below???

So Im getting my bottle filled at a local race shop. While waiting I spot a can of something called 40 Below. He claims to lower engine temps by as much as 40 and at least 20 or so. You drain the radiator, Add water, antifreeze and a can of this stuff. Supposed to help out more for while in traffic or whatever the situation is when the air flow is restricted. The point being. Anyone ever use this?

I haven't heard that it actually lowers temps, but I know that running a combo of RMI-25 and distilled water is the best way to keep things cool... Most people see at least 10* temp drops...

Seen there was the water wetter. This stuff listed use for trucks, street rods, etc. Seems like it would be worth trying.

a local car dealership uses this in the their cars. it does work, and also gives them more return work when the cars start running warmer after the coolant is changed without adding more of the 40 below or equivalent additive.

    Thumbs up

it does work but i only saw a drop in temp of like 20 deg. i got a couple of cans from when i worked at advance auto parts they discontinued it and started to sell Redline water wetter is a coolant additive i never really noticed a deference when i used water wetter i would go with 40 Below or purple ice i know a couple of my buddys that have diesel trucks run that stuff and so show a drop
