    OBS Brake problems

To start off when doing some panic stops to test the brakes the fronts wont even lock up. RWAL computer is NOT hooked up.

    New calipers
    stainless steel brake lines
    slotted rotors with Hawk pads
    new wheel cylinders
    new rear brakes
bleed entire system with new fluid

I cleaned the self adjusters and used Antiseize and they are easy to turn.

Master cylinder is a Reman Cardone from Advance.

Basically the pedal travels probaly half way down before you feel the brakes engage.
I also swapped out a salvage yard prop valve for grins.

The rear brakes are adjusted slighty tight.

I figured with no RWAL I should be able lock front and rear brakes with no problems.

No brake light is on so the pressures are equal....

Im leaning toward removing the DUMP valve cause the I want RWAL gone.....how can I ck Master cylinder operation.

Also here is a clip of some weird air sound when I pump the brakes.....what is it???

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder? .....how did ya bleed it out? The pin between the m/c and the booster..they like to fall under the truck and roll away when you remove the m/c.

    Maybe the booster......but i would say re-bleed the M/C.

    When did the problem start?

I got a "reman" m/c from oreallys and it started seeping fluid just SITTIN in the driveway...i DESPISE reman m/c!!
