Well all I am going to attempt again to stab this 5.3 into my truck. I always tackle things the hard way I have fabed up some motor mounts and tried the install last night well I have slid the motor as far back as I can ( I guess for better weight transfer) and found my newly routed fuel lines are in the way. I missed it by about 1/2 inch so tonight I will try to reposition them I couldnt get the tranny and motor to mate together
Well this weekend it will be running! ( I hope) I have the nelson tune just sitting ready to ignight (sp?) Once installed I will need to shorten the drive shaft and hammer down!

All this for a 68 pickup!

yes it is a short bed, this is an older one (after paint) prior to assembly ofthe trim and remaining parts, it has been a slow process...

will do. unfortunatly I got screwed on a trailblazer converter I bought. It never has shown up so this has put me behind where I wanted to be. I really hate doing things twice...
