    and yes he has installed oem ss wheels on it if that makes any difference.

    Replace the 4x4 switch on the dash.
    2001 ECSB 4x4, 5.3, Radix, 3.0 pulley, VHP Trucker cam, 216/224 .551/.551 115 lsa, 1.8 Crane roller rockers, 4L65E, Yank SC3000, 3.73, Cal-Tracs, HPTuners.

    What year truck?

    99-02 tend to have switch failures and 03-06 have encoder sensor problems.

    Then again, it's a machanical and electrical system so anything could be wrong. This is why it needs a scan.

    gotta log it and look at front speed sensors and the ones in the transfer too, differant readings could cause that.

    +1 w/ GasGuzzler......I had both those exact problems in those exact year models...both are easy fixes.
