Alright! According to Allen, my tune will be leaving his shop shortly. While this is a highly anticipated moment, it shines a light on a less than comforting thought. I have no idea about how to access the PCM on my 96 Tahoe! I have a Chilton's manual that shows where it is, but makes no reference to how to open it up. Since my aborted effor with a shift kit we (my wife & I) are a little reluctant to dive into this project blind. Can someone (anyone) give me idiot instructions on how to do this for my specific vehicle? Are there any special tricks I should know? All I am positive of is disconnect the battery. How do I open the housing where the PCM sits? What, if anything, do I do with the plugs in the case? Can you see that I am struggling? Help me Mr. Wizzard.....
