    Intake/Head ?

    How much would....

    L92/L76 Intake
    L92 Heads
    and 90mm ls2 TB

Help Me? Would it at all. I can get the parts for right at 800-850. Im sure the heads would be bare so I would need to get valves right? How much would I gain? And is everything a direct swap?

Fixed the intake part for you.

You would need a new cam for this also... IMHO, Not worth the money you would spend. You would be better off spending that money on FI.

i gained 6/10ths with P&P heads and LS2 intake, and that was on a nitrous tune might of gained more on a motor tune.

intake 200.00 ( had my own fuel rails and such )
heads 1800.00 ( ordered the best in valves and such ) ( complete )
    cam 400

so roughly 2500.00 total, was it worth it just depends i think it was!! i've wasted more on other crap!!

bottom line its getting every part to sink with each other, like cam matching heads and intake, then comes your stall along with other parts.
    Simple: 408 on steroids!

There's a guy that might be closer to me, might be closer to Greg that sells L92 heads on craigslist for a lot less than $1800 and most of the sets I've seen have had valves.

Not saying it's worth it either.

I know if I were building a carbed LS (sorry Quik), I'd do it with a stock iron 6.0 shortblock, some L92 heads and carb intake, and 8 offset rockers (use the other 8 off the 317's that came on the 6.0 before putting them up for sale with springs and valves) along with a cam swap and the GMPP ignition controller.....but that's a different story.

    Go FI as suggested.
