The cam i have is a somewhat stock LS1 grind from lingenfilter, 500/218, with the head work, injectors & programing it runs 14.90's-N/A....not to bad for a 5000lb truck.....mild, every day driver

Im more old school w/ the older carb's & dist. engine until learning about how to tune these engines, I first installed the cam did the head work & injectors and was bumbed out on the preformance, I then got a programer and then it all came together, I would rec. a programer first and work your way up...If your engine is stock and you go w/ a large cam u need to install larger injectors & be able to adjust the flow rate.
