    91 TBI to ls1 swap

I have a 91 1500 im swapping an ls1 into. I have a built 700r4 already in the truck that I want to use in the swap, but have a couple of questions. What wiring harness do I use? And what adaptor shim and bolts to bolt the torque converter up? I already have the cable from bowtie overdrive and i have read that a 98 ls flexplate is the one to use. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Are you getting a custom conversion converter made to adapt the TH400 transmission to the LS1 flywheel setup? If not, you'll need the flat flexplate from the 99-2000 6L, spacer and bolts. They're available all over the place, I got mine from crateenginedepot.com. You'll have to slot the holes in the flexplate to match your converter bolt pattern.

Wiring harness, NelsonPerformance.com makes a nice LS1 conversion harness.

Ok I got my harnes ordered, stall, and adaptor. Now my next question is which motor mount plates to use? Im going to be getting a set of schoenfeld headers and looked at the transdapt ones they used. Are they the ones that put the ls1 back into the original location? I just had a new driveshaft built before I decided to do the swap and really dont want to get anohter one made. Also does anyone make brackets to use the original 91 AC compressor?
    Thanks
