Yeah.. you're right.. Well, I should be running in a few weeks.. I just won't have the cage in by then. Is this track strict about that?

BTW, I'm not one for GM versus Ford arguements.. I own a performance shop, and we build both.. I have respect for both brands, and each have thier strong/weak points.

That being said, I'm not a thick headed Lightning owner, who thinks that his truck is the fastest thing out there.. simply because it says "Lightning" on the side. But, I DO like to go to the track, and I am competetive..

I'm sure you can get two runs in before they stop you. You take it all the way out to the 1/8 the first run to get the launch right, then the second run or at least third run go all out

    4L60E?

I just went through my 4R100.. Burnt out 1st gear clutch pack, and a few bad bearings.. Rebuilt with Hughes Performance parts, and tossed in a Precision Industries billet triple disc converter while I had it out.

lol but if you really bust into the 10s, probably after the second or third they will tell you no more.

Yeah I know there are some Ls that are wanting to participate. There will be a handful of us ready, hopefully we bring the depth that they have
