    v6---->ls1

    i just bought an ls1 to swap into my 4.3 silverado. it is just a longblock(water pump, intake, fuel rails, injectors, internals). what would i need to get this up and running? also, would my 4l60e hook up to this and hold or will i need a new tranny? it did not have an oil pan either. would i be fine with a stock ls1 oil pan, or would i need something else to fit my truck?

    you will need a crank spacer, longer bolts and flat flywheel or a custom torque converter to mate the old style transmission to the 300mm type setup. The converter is the best way to do it. This will allow you to re-use your old 4.3L 60e.
