what about the driveshaft ?? and if there is any part that must be changed please type the part number .. and put pictures if u have,, thanks

The install is going to be very similar. The trans, flywheel, converter, bolts, etc, are all going to be the same.
The only thing I can see being different is the fabrication of the crossmember and the driveshaft. We've done a few 2wd, regcabs here and we used the same ds, just changed the slip yoke and it went right on.

I have an 01 ext cab short bed does anyone know what drive shaft i have to get to make the 80e work for this app . I see the 5.3 mentioned will the 80e even work on a 4.8 ?

shut it LOL yeah i guess your right well even if i droped a 6.0 in i would still have to worry about the drivsaft well i guess after all that a stock one from a HD would work bu then i would have the rear dif issue good grief i guess ill just trade mine in for a HD and just spend money on that one lol

is there a flywheel spacer for the LQ9?
It didn't come with one but you can put one on it if needed.
