    Speaker Box Options

Well.. the ol' 10's ain't hittin hard enough for me anymore. I have two in a sealed box underneath the backseat of this CC. At the time, these were the biggest speakers i could get without having to put the box on top of the seat. I was wondering if there was any other speaker box i could put under the backseat, preferably one that houses two 12's or two 15's? I wanna rattle windows, but these 10's ain't doing it for me anymore! Any suggestions?

I'll sell you a setup that hit 153.8 in a single cab truck... You can ask SS-PEREZ, LamboDoNoMo, and quite a few others. It is a single 12" DD9512 and a kicker Kx2500.1. It wont fit under the seat, but you'll thank me later =)

forget behind the seat, in the seat, and under the seat. The only way you are going to be happy with your sound without losing under or behind seat space is cutting the bed. Yeah you lose about 2 feet of bed space but who needs it right? Put in a bed extender and You have it back. I cut the bed in my 2000 Z71 and it was one of the loudest trucks I had ever heard, and I have installed car stereo for about 5 years. I had 2 Rockford P2 DVC 12's in a bandpass box on a Rockford Power 500.1. I have a couple of pics posted in the " custom systems, lets see them" section. you can also check out chuckscarstereo.com, look at page 5 of the installs and see an identical system going into a Ford Supercrew that Chuck did. I cut mine while I was installing for him.

Take a look at the JL Audio 13TW5's. I heard 3 under the back seat of a truck and they kicked butt! You'll have plenty of air space to fit 3 without raising the seat.

I just did an install on a CC duramax. It was one cvx 10 behind the rear seat. It pounds and you cant physically tell theres a sub back there.

I forgot about those, they are RIGHTEOUSLY KICK @$$. I did one in a mustang convertible and was quite impressed. What's even better, you can run those and get a ton of bass and not have a hole in the cab.
