confused by motors

this sounds stupid but i am switching my 03 4.8 out with a 05 4.8, only because its what was given to me and what i have to work with. Now what will i have to change out for this to plug in and run? I will prolly use the e-fans out of the 05 with it.

It's the same. The 05-06 had an add-on fuse block behind the UBEC for the fan wires and relays. Reuse the harness off yours and add the other stuff (and a tune) and you have the same thing. There may be 5-10 HP difference, not sure. I'd way the fans and harness and get a tune.....leave the rest alone unless you're gonna really mod it.

ok, really not gonna mod it out, prolly do a tune and longtubes on it and be done with it.
