    I use the search button here extensively, and have found a trick that you can try. Try inserting an asterisk after strings that are shorter than 3 characters.

    For example, if you search for "V8", it finds no matches. However, if you search for "V8*", you get a long list of matches. This is because the search engine understands that the "*" is a wildcard.

    This might not work or apply to what you are needing it for, but it has been somewhat helpful to me.

    thanks Tiny, yeah i started using wild cards to do my searches, i am not new to forums or running forums, i run 17 of them on my server. but know big deal.. i only posted to maybe help someone else that likes to use the search functions, actually to me it doesnt matter how many threads come up as long as something comes up, anything will help!!!! BESIDES THE MESSAGE I GOT!!!
