    FI Cam on NA Engine

Well I'm really starting to figure in budget on my truck. My plans are to get a stall pretty soon (circle D reworked TB converter w/ 3000 stall)

In the distant future I want to go turbo so I am curious if I will be missing too much by getting a cam more tailored for FI while my truck is still NA.

It seems to me that the difference is mostly in the LSA which affects the lope and the broadness of the power band while loosing some of the peak power. I understand there is compromise but I don't want to be driving my truck and saying "this damn cam is really holding me back"

    Thanks,
    Michael

    You'll be fine.

Ran my turbo cam in my Mustang for few months while fabbing turbo kit for
it. Ran fine and made good power.

Stock Z06 cam eveyone runs is actually a pretty good turbo cam from looking at the specs
    2002 Tahoe 4.8 - soon to be turbo'd - SOLD
    1989 Mustang - LX Vert - 351W-TT - 2inches of dust covering it
    2012 Raptor - 497rwhp at 10psi
If you aint breaking - you aint going fast enough

I think the gt 2-3 cam would be perfect.

gt2-3 would be good on a 6.0 but allen told me it would be too big on the 4.8, without a bigger stall
    go like a 212/ 218 114lsa
    Name: Mark,
God created turbo lag so nitrous trucks could have a chance.

Runs great. I can keep up with Tyler's and he has a more '' conservative'' cam.
low end is a little laggy, but it doesnt lag any more than stock, it just seems that way because the top ends pulls much harder.

Get Allen to have one spec'd for you. That removes all guesswork.
