    Sounds like a plan, (5.3 to lq9) I'll need a trans. upgrade though, Eaton posi, yukon axles, etc, etc, etc,....

    ok so i missed out on the lq9 but i picked up an 03 5.3L. could i put a Lq9 cam in it and just send my computer to texas speed for a tune? i think i'm going with shorty headers, jet mass air flow sensor, and an 85mm throttle body. thoughts??

    well i was reading on the 85mm throttle body and came to a conclusion that its not a big difference.
    only so much air will fit in the cylinder chambers. plus i just kept my cable TB.

    who else has tunes for a mild cam kit?
