    5.3 Headers

I Tried To Search But Couldnt Find Anything, I Have Even Tried Looking For The Price On The Internet. I Am Looking At Getting The 5.3l Conversion Headers For The Square Body Chevy, But I Cant Find Where To Get The And What Price They Are. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

    Thanks
    Ryan

Some guys are running Fbody headers on the 73-87 models.

I also am running the s&p headers on my 86 c10 6.0 swap
    Nice headers.
DOug Thorley makes a set for 67-72 c10 trucks, but drivers side on 73-87 won't work due to brake booster brace. I know for sure, I have a set in my garage.
They are trying to find a donor truck right now to make a set for 73-87. Too bad they are in Cali, someone would get a sweet set of mid length headers for free.

    headers

my blazer was a diesel to start with and is now getting the 5.3, all of the brake equipment (hydraboost) was taken off of the firewall and replaced with wilwood manual system that is now under the "dash", about 90% of the original frame has been replaced with tube, so if that is the only issue, being the brake booster brace, i dont see why they wouldnt fit. what do you think pmc??

p.s. the frame is stock from in front of the motor mounts to roughly the beginning of the driver seat.

the header hits the brace. Only way around that is to make a new header, or cut the brace.
Or go with the s&p headers.
You could go with the fbody's as some suggest, but you will be banging and beating them into submission...

corvette pipes are center dump, not exactly a good location in a truck.
