That won't be too wild with the 115. do those quick lift grinds require Crane lifters? If so, get ready to pull the heads.

Bri--go with the 224XE TSP cam. Get the 112 LSA--You'll love it. And a 3000 stall minimum...3200 preferred.

10-4 on that sweet cakes..... I just figured having a cam with a split duration would help it exhaust better on spray. Planning on a 150 shot on a plate from Nitrous Daves......recommened by Virgil...

You're welcome Butter Cup! You'll love that 224XE... 5.3L motors respond to high duration cams more than high lift cams. The 5.66 lift is fine..and the 112 LSA will make it thump pretty well!

OK, now you've come full circle. That's the cam I suggested to you in the first cam thread you started three weeks ago. And I still think it would be your best choice if you're spraying. It's the same cam that Vinci is now calling The Trucker. It sounds like this:

That Vette is idling a little fast, so it will be a little lopier with a slower idle and your smaller engine.
And you won't need new lifters with the quick lift cams. Their lobes have similar profiles to Comp's XE grinds.

thanks i been looking all over for something.... Since you said you wanted a bigger cam and stall i figured why go small and be pissed might as well go a lil bigger

Im running the 212/214 High lift right now and love it.

Still sluggish in the bottom end but it deffinatly is noticible around 2500+ RPM. But i should note that i havent gotten my retune in so that should make it an even more powerful addition.

However if your going for a lopy sound than this isnt for you. With my Hooker Aero, its a very mild lope, almost not noticible however with the cutout open it scares little children!!
