thanks for the warm welcome guys I've just been super busy lately.

Here are a few shots of the motor:

    picking it up

    getting her unloaded

And of course the damage from a forklift the seller hinted to. They are supposed to be sending me a truck oil pan for a replacement??? not sure thats going to work I had planned on using one of those conversion pans anyway. I just wanted them to give me something to make up for the damage really.

Now she's on hold until I get the Vmax and the race car checked off the to do list.

can't really say that I have.

I live and work over here on the east side. I work at the postal training center. Then I get home and work in my garage till I fall a sleep

This is my daily...... she recently (2 weeks ago) got pissed and grenaded a piston but normally its my daily..... I hope to have her back on the road by next week. So for now the Yellow Gixer is doing daily duty.

Oh yeah we normally hit up the dunes pretty hard all year. This year has been a bust with diesel prices being so high. Before I could do a full weekend for about $300 now its about double that. So we're only going up for a day trip and we're packing a tent just in case .

Thanks, Well the 240 as you can see has a full JDM Kouki 180SX conversion. She had a fully built SR20DET motor in her with a stock T28 turbo pushing 18-19lbs daily. I had her fully tuned for 87 pump gas. The last time I took her to the track (few months ago) she did consistant 12.5's on 87 pump gas . She recently crapped an oil pump which led to catostrophic engine failure. I've got a new long block assembled and hopefully she'll be back on the road by next week. I love my GSXR1000 but I don't like it for a daily. Oh yeah she's got full leather, power steering, A/C..... basicly everything a daily driver needs and I never strip it out for racing of any kind.

Yeah definately, I'll keep my eyes peeled. I usually wear a yellow icon jacket and a grey helmet. But I'm hoping to not be driving her daily any more after next week. Don't get me wrong I love the bike ....... I just don't like relying on it for daily transportation.
