    E-Water pump ideas

Okay, on my way home today and apparently the A/C belt shredded, which in turn threw the main belt. Couldn't pull over for a mile or so...by then the engine temp read 265. Coolant venting, the whole nine yards. To preclude future overheats due to belt malfunctions, I'm thinking an e-water pump. Any thoughts, pros/cons, brands, etc.?

Little more info on the meizere? Also been looking at doing that on the sierra.

Lucky you didn't get any permanent damage from that.. well hope you didn't.

That was the brand that came to mind. I didn't think about the battery issue...but I think replacing a battery would be preferable to replacing a block. Thanks for the input!

was told that the e-pumps don't cool as good as the mechanical pumps.
