Been to the site many times searching for information. Now that I need some informating it is time to join. I'm from Arkansas and work in radiation protection. I'm just about ready to install a 5.3 with a 4L60 in a Jeep DJ5 that has been converted that the tube has been converted to look like a CJ5.

Welcome to LS1truck man! Good to hear you finally joined---there are some other peeps on here who have done some LSx swaps in Jeeps... That should be a interesting project--turning a mail Jeep into a CJ... Good luck!

Is it just from the front clip-back are they different? I mean, is the frame the same, but the sheetmetal different? If so, then yeah, it shouldn't be that tough. Just get you stuff from the firewall-back and bolt it up!
