    02-06 78mm Ported Throttle Bodies for sale/trade!!

    Hey,

Just like the title says, i have two ported 78mm drive by wire throttle bodies. Ones an 02 the other is an 04. The 04 had the coolant connectors cut off, but the 02 still has them.

What i did to the throttle bodies was just port & polish them and cut half of the center shaft off. They have never been disassembled ether! Still all original gm seals only the TB blade screws were removed. Both of the throttle bodies have been tested by me on an 04 and 05 silverado and worked great.

These throttle bodies will work on 02-06 silverado/sierra/avalanche and 07 silverado classics.

Im looking to get 120$ + shipping but you can also send me your old throttle body for a 50$ core exchange.

If anyone has any questions please pm. Thanks

    Brandon

someone correct me if i am wrong, but i always thought porting a throttle body consist of drilling a small diameter hole in the throttle blade? am i that blind thats there not one in these pics and the polishing being of a slick surface with a knifed edge

No, porting does not consist of drilling a hole in the throttle blade, there a hole in the camaro tb that people usally epoxi closed or use jb weld. As for polishing ive never heard of the knife edge as being polishing but a smooth slick surface is polishing.

porting a tb has nothing to do with drilling a hole in the blade. A hole in the blade is a bandaid to allow air to bypass the idle air control valve and enter the engine. If you need more air and you have a cable TB you just adjust the stop and reset the TPS signal in the pcm.
