I run 305/50/20 on the rear of mine. 275/55 up front.
    Gone, but not forgotten!

I had some 305/50 20s on my 2000 Silverado and they rubbed some on the fenders so I had to get some 275/45s instead. i have the 305's for sale though if interested.

Your stock 20" wheels are 8.5" wide. I looked it up, and 285/50R20 is the widest tire recommended for your wheel. A wider tire may get damaged in the bead area over time, potential blowout hazard.

You see that little shop parked behind my truck? That shop is my job. It's an industry book, printed by Tire Guides, Inc. Full of OEM wheel and tire fitment info, approved rim contours for all sizes of tires, load & inflation tables, etc. They have a website Tire Guides, Inc. - Publications on tire fitment, sizing and grading, tire tread designs, tire forensic, etc. , but I've never been on it.
