Hey i was wondering if i got a 4l80e for my RCSB if i would have to make a custom driveshaft? or could i just go to the junk yard and find out that will fit out of another car? Thanks

Don't cut anything until you measure the difference in transmission lengths measured from the bellhousing to the output shaft end. Also, be sure you get a splined slip joing type output shaft, not the one that bolts on. There are two different ones and you won't know the difference unless you take the tail housing off or have a long slip yoke to slide on it before you buy it. They both are tapped for a bolt.

I did the 80e swap in my RCSB you will only need a shorter slip yoke to make the drive shaft work and you can get it online pm me if you need more info.

What size fitting did you use to convert the hard line to the AN fitting?
For those that are comfortable cutting and splicing wires or re-pinning a connector, you can do this method instead of spending the extra coin for a conversion harness. You'll still need the harness for the second VSS, but this takes care of the main round harness that plugs into the side.
