I don't get to much computer time so sorry i'm slow to post up responses. Thanks so much for the warm welcome, eveyone here is great. To answer some of the questions It is out of a 97 fbody. It has been stroked to a 383 using Scat crank, rod, and JE pistons. Stock ported heads with a 224 230.535 .540 comp cam sporting 1.6 rockers. A TC76 is hopefully not to far into the fuuture. Red I got my M/T radials but can't make it to the track this weekend because of my brother-in-law's wedding. Hopefully next weekend weather permitting, so get yours together and come out.

Damn, I bet that "beater" of your can move pretty well. Did you build the motor for FI? That cam looks kinda small and how far did you port the heads? How much did you raise the compression ratio?

When I built the motor i did not have FI in mind, but I used good parts so I think it will take 12-15psi max with 10.4:1 compression on E85. Only plan to run 8psi on the street and turn it up at the track on ocassion. The cam is alittle small for a 383 but I was trying to build a strong midrange torque motor. The port work is mild like the cam. I pull with the truck some so I didn't get to crazy with the combo.

15x8 1985 ralleys. I didn't want to spend money on new wheels so I asked the guy I got the M/Ts from if he had any old wheels that would work. He went behind is shop to look and came back with two very rough looking ralleys. I said how much? He said their yours if you want em. FREE! That is my favorite price, so I stopped by Auto Zone on the way home for some sand paper and wheel paint. Plan on going to the track this weekend are you?

tranny is the truck is fried. Other half just came out of surgery on her back Thursday so I'm going to hang with her until she feels half human again.
