Hey guys, I'm going to be buying some new rims soon and needed some info.

I would like the fattest wheel possible, however, it must not stick out past the fenders.
Do any of you have pics of some wheels in 17" size? I'm not sure about back spacing, so that's where I need help.

I guess I need to paint that ugly sob, lol once I get my wheels.

    thanks,

    allen

i bought some boyds and they have to tuck for my 4/6 drop. they are 17x10 in the rear with 6.5" bs i think. 17x8" up front with 5 or 5.5" bs up front, they'll tuck and are still wide.

is your truck a fleetside or stepside? If you have a 10inch wheel on a fleetside you would want to go with 7inch back spacing. i always try to go with 3 inchs of face on the wheel. Depends on what wheels you get to some wheels only offer a certian backspacing to. So you might not get what you need. I know centerline dosent offer that many choices. When i went to purchase my budniks i had a hell of a time trying to figure it out because i got a soft lip wheel and they only come in a 20 by 8.5. I tryied calling budnik and they wouldnt give me any idea on backspacing because they said that the place i buy them from shoulud tell me and they cant let that info out. I called intro, colorado custom, and billet specialties they all told me the same thing. Im not really to sure about backspacing in the rear if you have a step side but if you go with a 8inch wheel in the front atleast go with 5 inchs of backspacing. just try to keep 3 inchs of face and you should be fine

Allen, get some 15 inch wide weld dragstars and cover what hangs out the bed with some flares. That ought to hook that bad boy up to the ground real good.

hell ya, LOL, you've must of seen those awesome trucks with the dually flares and like 40" wide tires, LOL.

The best part is, when they can't afford the big tires anymore, they put on stock ones , now the flares really look kick ass

there is one running around my area, i'll have to take a pick of it,
