A friend did one on his 07 reg. cab at the dealership. It looks awsome but it was expensive. I think it was like $1500-2000.

yead id go the power sliding ragtop, i called street beat about one for my 03 ext cab and was told 695 plus shipping, and thats power and everything needed to put it in, and they arent all that hard to install, once you get over cutting a huge hole in the roof.
I plan to add one to mine in the future.
i was thinking the dealer could do it for about 800. Guess i was wrong.
I had one installed at the dealer on my last Duramax, It was 1750 for the whole deal. It was just like factory. There are some body shops that said they could do one cheaper, but I just felt better about the dealers work. I think it was still around a grand though.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
thanks for the good info. i will look into the stealership when i get home
I got one on my 04 extended cab that was done at the dealership as well..
well the dealership doesnt actually do the intsall, they have an outside company they send the truck to, try and find out who they use and go directly to the source, may save a few bucks. The sunroof from the factory is an 800 dollar option, and most of the nice aftermarket power sliding units are in the area of twice that.
Remember just like everything else you get what you pay for.
