newbie to this forum but not MODS

Hey, there guys I am looking forward to providing help on this forum and learning as more about the LS series motor. I am not new to modding cars and trucks, when I was 16 I installed a LT1 into a jaguar xj12. I did the usual mods you would do to a Z28: ported heads, cam(a 227/233 @.050 with .550/540 lift) ,headers, ported manifold,MSD optispark,MSD coil, taylor wires, CAI, dual 2 1/2 exhaust, hughes 4L60E with a 2800 stall, and set of 3.54 gears with posi.

Then at the age of 18 I Decided a 1965 GTO was in oreder so I started to build that and Im still in the building process. Check that out at lateral-G.net.
Its a 600 hp 462 pontiac powered, tube chassis, mini tubbed, tko-5 speed, 65 gto drop top.
Theres alot more then I just mentioned that Ive done to it.

My current daily driver is a 1999 GMC sierra 2500 with damn near every heavy duty option you can get. this would be a: 6.0,4l80e,14 bolt rear with hydroboost, powersteering cooler, trans cool, oil cooler, etc
the truck has roughly 160,000 miles on it.
The truck is in damn good shape and is a rust free california truck.

not trying to brag, I just want to let you guys know Im will to try the serious mods and let you know how they go. I want learn as much as possible from you guys or teach if I can. I may be young at 20 but Ive got a knack for anything and everything cars. Ive made a carrer out of it so far and I am currently into restoration and modification of nostalgic american cars.

I plan on replacing my muffler on the truck first thing with a magnaflow dual inlet dual outlet. The truck came with dual 2 1/2 or 3 up to the muffler then it goes into a 2 3/4 pipe over the axle and exits. My muffler is going out and why not let the motor breath.

I just thought it was funny the truck cam with true dual exhaust up to the muffler. What was GM thinking?

I am also thinking what do I have to lose if I throw a set of AFR 205cc heads on there and a cam in the 220@.050 duration range and a 2200 stall and some long tubes. I know the bottom end is old but I think it could handle it for awhile. I dont want to go to nuts thats what the GTO and jag are for.
