Thread: lt1 or ls1 on a 92 silverado

    what do you mean when you say to get the vette accecories? srry i'm kind of slow.
    so will it be better if i got a vette motor and PCM wire harness? if i get vette accecories will i still have to buy, or make ac brackets?

    The vette accessories mount everything all on the driver side of the truck. The a/c is at the top or should I side top and side of the engine. The fbody accessories are on the passenger side. I will try to post a picture of my takeout vette motor later and you will see what I am talking about. The only mod you will have to make is for a new a/c hose. You would have to do that with the fbody too since they use a different compressor, I think. Definitely have to relocate the a/c with the fbody accessories. Check out www.hotrodlane.cc website for more information. They also have pictures of the differences between the vette accessories and the fbody accessories. They convinced me years ago to go the vette route when i put the LT1 in my truck. Easy conversion that way.
