    Chevrolet sticker on tailgate

I've taken many stickers and emblems off of cars and motorcycles (usually one of the first things I do), but I'm wondering if anyone knows how to go about taking the big CHEVROLET sticker off the tailgate without damaging the paint. I've tried heating it up, but it still doesn't want to come off. Any info would be great! Thanks

A heat gun should do the trick. You can try a bondo spreader to scrap up an edge so u have somthing to grap and peel it wont hurt paint either. What i used to get the acces glue of my truck when I de badged it. Any way good luck. Ben

to bad you aren't in Dallas...i would take it off for you...but take it off in a garage and you can use a hair dryer to help...trying to mess with vinyl in cold weather is a joke

A heat gun in an enclosed area and some Goo Gone for the residue.

the yankee knows his stuff but after you remove it it'll still show up for awhile in the sunlight until it fades with the rest of the truck.

Shadowing will depend on the year of your truck. If your paint has faded at all, you'll have shadowing. Mine was an '03 and I didn't have any shadowing from the emblems or the door guards.
