Whats up guys.. Been Trollin around this site for a while getting my ducks in a row for a LS1 T56 swap into my 2000 RCSB V6 5 speed. And might I say this site has set me up with a load of info.
Right now I have a LS1 long block outa a 2000 Vette, and the wiring harness and computer out of a V8 truck. My main concern is the wiring, how hard will it be to graft the harnesses together? I was going to have Dynatech do the harness but looks like here latley they have been slipping, so fudge it I will do it myself. I have a the ECU pinout chart from the V8 truck. Does anyone have the pinout for the V6 trucks? I am mainly worried about the gauges working correctly. Has anyone here ever done this conversion.??
Also what about intake manifolds? I here the truck intake ahs more torque compared to the vette and f-body intake. And what about accessory routing, will any of the configurations work ( i.e. Vette acc, F-body acc, or Truck acc?) This will also come into play when I decide on an intake manifold. Any help you guys can throw my way is greatly appriciated.
