I found a TD04 Turbo off a 2004 STI and the intercooler at a good price. Would that run good on my 4.8 and how much money am i looking to spen after i buy the turbo. Thanks Guys

I think the TD04 will fall off too fast at top end, but spool really fast. After the turbo you could probably spend under a grand if you take your time buying parts, and also depends on how much work you do yourself?

That turbo is way to small for your truck. i would look for somthing in the 60mm compressor range and a .81 A/R or bigger exhaust side. but it really just depends on what your power goals would be. as far as after you bought a turbo what kind of money you would need to spend. that depends on how much fab work you can do yourself and what kind of deals you can find. anytime you go FI always plan on Twice what you really want to spend because the little things add up.
