In need of Cam help

Hey guys, i've decided to blow my tax return money on a cam, but i'm clueless as to what cam to go with. if any of you could help me out with a part number or some good cam choices for a 2001 silverado 5.3L it would be much appreciated. i'm also wondering if i would need to change the rockers and springs if i got the cam, or would the stock ones work. any help is appreciated, thanks

how much do you drive your truck, what gears are you running, do you want a smooth idle or one with some lope?

the rockers will hold from what i hear, but new springs are needed.

I would also like to know a good cam for my 5.3 '01 ext cab. It is my daily driver so It needs to be streetable. I know vacume used to be a prob with big cams, so I don't want to have any vacume probs! I'm not sure what gears I have. I need to change all of my fluids soon, so I'll have to check and see what I have!
