    Question about billet grille

I want to buy a billet grill, and I think i'm going with the carriage works bolt over, but cant decide between polished or black. from what I hear, people have been happy with the bolt over, fits reallly well. What do you guys think? Remember, I have the black plastic bumper front end, which looks good, but I'm not sure is the black billet will stand out or look right. and If i spend $130, i want it to be noticable. If anyone has a pic of a black billet grill, i would love to see it. Thanks

What about color matching the front end to the rest of the truck first? By your sig photo it looks so odd black. Maybe it's just my monitor.

Actually red, I really like the way the black looks on the color of the truck. the problem is, i don't know how the billet grill would look on it. I'll try to get some better pictures of the truck in the sunlight, because my avatar is a little decieving. Anyway, i think the work truck front end is either a hate-it-or love it kinda thing. Thanks though.

Yeah, it might just be my monitor. I've always loved polished or brushed aluminum. I'm going to do one on my 2007 Classic before long.

Personally I think a polished billet grill inserts and a polished billet bow tie would look great on that black front either way you go keep us updated

Black rims are in the works...I have about half saved up to buy some silverado ss rims and powdercoat them black. I think you are right about all black looking good, but as whitesilvy04 said, all black might not be as noticable..I just dont want to spend the money and nobody even notice it. Carriage works doesnt have a picture of what the black actually looks like, cuz i've never seen it before. Thanks everyone. I hopefully want to order it by this fri, so i'll get pics up soon.

If you don't like the way it looks with the stock grille behind it, either cut it out or paint it a flat black before installing your chrome billet on top. Painting it black will almost make it invisible...
