mine is sprayed over the caps but i also have a step side bed... i have been thinking about taking it off over the caps and as soon as i do i haul something that would have damaged the top of the caps if the liner was not there...

hey red do you know if you can paint that stuff? like if i have my truck repainted in the summer can they just sand it a little and then shoot it or is that a bad idea? not the whole bed just where i have it over the top of the caps...

dude definetly go under the bed. mine is like that and i dont know how i would live with myself if i had gone over the rails. if u do go over the side then you couldnt put a bed cover on unless it was one of those huge heavy ones that goes over the sides. under the rails is much cleaner of a look.

If you actually use your truck then go over the rails if you dont then go under. I actually use my truck as a truck(when its running), when I put my 4 wheeler in the bed of my truck and then step on the bed rail to jump out of the bed my muddy feet scratched the shit out of my s10. The only thing that has saved my silverado was that I had chrome bed rails on there while I was still carrying a 4 wheeler regularly.
