Wow.
That's all I have to say. Guys, please, go to Autozone, purchase the Bosch cabin filter for $14.99 and replace it!!! My truck is now 7 years old and I am not positive if my filter has EVER been changed. I thought it wouldn't be that bad, but I was sadly mistaken.
I thought since my truck sits in the garage 4-5 days of the week, hasn't seen rain since '03, and is extremely well maintained, the filter wouldn't be that bad.
When I pulled it out---a robin's nest, a used mattress, a rusted out water heater fell to my floorboard. Ok, maybe it wasn't all that--but I did have to get the shop vac out and vacuum up the floor mat from the remnants of the filter removal.
Serioulsy, your cabin will smell much better once you replace it. Dooooooo it!
