6.0L Motor into '92 Suburban Questions
Hey guys, first time here and figured I'd ask a couple questions to make sure my plan will work. We're swapping a 2004 6.0L motor into a 1992 Suburban. Tranny is a 1994 4L80e out of a pickup. Harness and ECU from Current Performance, keeping the throttle by wire. I've read the stick but have a few other concerns..
1) Will there be any problems bolting the tranny and engine together? Converter bolt pattern, spacing, ect..
2) The owner wants to possibly swap the intake out for the car style for looks (its a show truck), Ive been told to stick with the 98-02 manifold for the 3 bolt pattern. Will everything else line up on the heads?
3) Stock manifolds will fit without hitting?
4) I've been told to go with the 1" setback plates, but the sticky says to use stock location mounts, which way to go?
5) The hotrod pan kit will fit this engine no problem right? P/n #19212593
Thanks!
