took her through emissions last night and got her to pass the 3rd time I went. there was a few kids that were working there that kept pointing at my truck and talking to eachother. finally one of them came over and asked if it was 4 linked. and I told him it was just the link style bars. I talked with him a little while and he told me he loved the truck and it sounded great, I guess he had a 99 dakota r/t with a 408 in it. I went to ask him more about his truck but he got called back to work.
I need wider rubber, when I get her to stick in 1st she loses traction again when she hits 2nd. and she is still untuned for the most part, all I have done is adjust the shift points and pressures. but luckily the stock engine tune is keeping me at a safe AFR, I'm picking up a new battery for my laptop and am going to start tuning the engine this weekend. I want to get her to the track but I dont think i'll be able to this weekend, but I will soon. If I dont hit 12s i'll be adding a wet shot, I might add one anyways just for kicks and killing turbos.
