Well, after a long stint in with the diesel truck crowd, I sold my Duramax and bought my wife an 07 Suburban, 1500, 4x4 LT2. We really needed the room (third kiddo on the way) and we didn't need the insane truck payment or the 3500 truck.

So, back to my roots, the LS crowd. I haven't kept up with LSx trucks so I have no clue about this engine other than it is a 5.3 with Felx Fuel and Active Fuel Management. I am assuming the transmission is still a 4L60E. It has auto trac, 3.73 gears, but no G80.

So my plans are simple, a good tune, some air in, maybe some air out, and a limited slip/posi, for the back end when we go off the beaten path. Anything more than that is not going to happen as this is the family vehicle and has to stay that way!

I will tow a two horse bumper pull slant trailer with it occasionally around here. Probably won't head to the mountains with horses in tow. So nothing crazy.

Good to be back and see all the awesome things people are doing with their LS trucks!
